Pflegecheck is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA and the European standard EN 301 549.

Scope

This statement applies to the website pflegecheck.com including the search, listing pages, the care grade calculator and the account areas.

Operator: Visurio GmbH, Robert-Koch-Straße 16, 53501 Grafschaft-Gelsdorf, Germany

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. The exceptions are listed below. The assessment is based on an internal evaluation with automated tests (axe-core, Lighthouse) and manual keyboard and screen reader checks.

Date of the last evaluation: 11 October 2026 (self-assessment; no external audit has taken place so far).

Known limitations

  • Interactive map: the map (markers, clusters, map-area search) is not fully operable with a keyboard or screen reader. All providers shown on the map are also available in the result list, which is fully accessible.
  • Content provided by providers (texts, images, PDF documents) may lack alternative texts or structure; we are working with providers to improve this.
  • Embedded third-party content (e.g. map tiles by MapTiler/OpenStreetMap, videos) is outside our direct control.

Accessibility settings

You can adjust font size, line height, contrast, animations and more at any time via the accessibility button (icon with the person symbol) in the header or at the bottom left of the page.
